Meet the Account Behind the Nursery Design Featuring the National Parks Quilt

Janelle and Jenna are two best friends living on different coasts. Janelle in Idaho and Jenna in upstate NY the two collaborated on an Instagram page to showcase their true love for interior design, decor and BABIES! Find them on Instagram at the @hausofsteiness.

1. What inspired you when designing Finn’s room?

Jenna: Finnegan's room is my favorite room in the house. It has so many cool features I can play with and have a little fun. I have to say, I always run to Pinterest for ideas and inspiration and then try to incorporate the items that bring myself & Finn joy into his room. Having two girls before Finn it has been fun to decorate with more masculine items.

2. What's your all time favorite baby product?

Jenna: My favorite would have to be my Stokke conversion crib. It has been passed down through Harper, Everly & Finnegan and will soon be passed to my niece Liliana

Janelle: I would have to say my favorite is the City Select Baby Jogger stroller. It has been a game changer with two little kids. It's easy to use and versatile on all types of ground. I'm very happy with it and always recommend it to new moms.

3. Three baby names you love but won't be using?

Janelle: I only have two babies names I love, Beau for a boy and Elle for a girl.

Jenna: I am obsessed with baby names! My list is a little longer.

For Boys: Roarke, Beau, & Sturgill

For Girls: Frankie, Marlowe, & Sophie

Bring on The Adventure

New parents are often filled with a variety of emotions and big life questions prompted by the tiniest of humans. Will we ever sleep again? What does it mean to be me now that I'm a mother?

For some parents, they wonder if they will lose their sense of adventure and ability to travel. Just because you're now searching online for questions like "what is cluster feeding?" or "how to get baby to sleep?" does not mean you will never be searching for the best hiking baby carriers or what national parks are open so you can share your appreciation of the great outdoors with your little one.

Inspire Wanderlust

The National Parks Quilt is the perfect travel companion for your next adventure or for simply inspiring wanderlust as it features Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Volcanoes, Joshua Tree, Redwood, Arches, Zion, Glacier, and Grand Canyon.

According to Travel + Leisure, there are 63 U.S. parks that are National Parks. Whether you visit all 63 or just dream of future adventures as your baby snuggles with the National Parks Quilt, you are already on the greatest adventure.
